Elphaba, delivered with emerald green skin color, is actually smart, feisty, and a social outcast. Due to her bizarre green skin color, she is an outsider & other people isolate her, which includes her father who is also the governor of Munchkinland. Elphaba who turns out to be the Wicked Witch of the West, is actually construed in Wicked the Musical to be more of the victim who was misunderstood.
